Reed Paddy
Reed Paddy is in his third year coaching at Arkansas Christian Academy, where he brings a decade of basketball experience and three years of coaching expertise. Reed is deeply committed to mentoring his players both on and off the court.
Reed’s coaching philosophy is built on the foundation of hard work, where every player learns the value of relentless effort and competitiveness. For him, winning isn’t just a goal—it’s a mindset that comes from an unyielding will to succeed. He emphasizes toughness, both physical and mental, expecting his players to show resilience and determination in overcoming challenges. At the heart of his approach is the belief in "we over me," ensuring that the team's success always takes precedence over individual recognition.
Reed’s dedication extends beyond the game, as he strives to build strong, lasting relationships with his players. He sees coaching as an opportunity to instill valuable life lessons, such as discipline, accountability, and teamwork—traits that help his athletes succeed far beyond the basketball court.
As an assistant coach, Reed has contributed to a regional championship and a state runner-up basketball team, and he continues to develop a culture of excellence and growth at ACA.
