David Clinton

David Clinton is entering his 10th year at Arkansas Christian Academy and brings an impressive 42 years of coaching experience to the ACA family. Throughout his career, he has coached football, boys and girls basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, golf, and track, giving him a wealth of experience in developing athletes and building successful programs.

Mr. Clinton has been married to his wife for 39 years, and they will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in October. He is the proud father of two children and grandfather of five grandchildren.

His coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that athletics provides a powerful stage for character development in young men and women. He believes winning is a byproduct of excellence, and that true excellence is developed by transforming talent into purpose through determination, hard work, sacrifice, love, self-control, perseverance, discipline, skill development, and ownership.

Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Clinton was elected to the University of Arkansas at Monticello Sports Hall of Fame. While his coaching career has been marked by many achievements, his greatest impact continues to be found in the lives of the young men and women he has had the opportunity to mentor and develop through athletics.
