We are proud of the recipients of the ACA Knights Football Awards for the September 20th game. The following awards were presented for outstanding performance by Jeff Richardson, on behalf of First Security Bank:
MVP:
Sawyer Van Es showcased incredible toughness and determination, earning him the prestigious MVP award. Despite playing most of the game with an injury, Sawyer pushed through the pain, demonstrating immense grit and resilience. His ability to stay focused and contribute to the team’s effort while battling through injury is a testament to his unwavering dedication and strength. Sawyer’s bravery on the field inspired his teammates and solidified his status as a true competitor.
Offensive Player of the Week:
Nolan Tam delivered an exceptional performance this week, leading his team to a commanding victory. On offense, Tam was unstoppable, contributing 6 total touchdowns and amassing 200 yards of total offense, showcasing his versatility and athleticism. But his impact didn’t stop there. On defense, Tam was a force to be reckoned with, racking up an impressive 12 tackles, helping shut down the opposing team’s offensive efforts. His ability to dominate on both sides of the ball was instrumental in the team’s success, making him a clear choice for Player of the Week.
Defensive Player of the Game:
With 2 key sacks and numerous disruptive plays, Aiden Guthrie constantly forced the opposing offense off balance, making it difficult for them to gain any momentum. Aiden’s effort and dominance on the defensive side of the ball earned him the well-deserved title of Defensive Player of the Game.
